lllawarra United Stingrays are very excited to announce Anthony Guido as our U17’s coach for 2021 season, bring NSL playing experience to the role.
Anthony will bring a professional winning culture to the U17’s. He has played and coached winning teams and will lead the girls from Youth to Seniors.
Anthony’s experience as player and coach, in a high level, intense winning environment, shows through his excellent game management skills and general play insights.
He is very passionate and professional. Anthony will bring a whole new approach to U17’s for the 2021 season.
Here are some of Anthony’s career highlights:
- Anthony played NSL for the Wollongong Wolves.
- Player – NSW and Australian School boys.
- Scholarship with the EPL for Ipswich town at 18 years of age.
- Player – 15 years in the Illawarra premier league, winning 4 minor premierships, 4 grand finals and winning 3 golden boots.
- 2016-2020 – 1st grade Assistant coach winning Minor premiership, league cups and Grand Finalist with Wollongong Olympic
Anthony is an asset to the Stingrays in this highly competitive age group.
